Bag Organiser

Hiya, so as I've mentioned before, I love organising just about anything. Knowing this, my lovely cousin kindly sent me a bag organiser to use and try out. I only received it this morning but I have already arranged it with all my handbag essentials and I love it!

The organiser has lots of different sections and zips, which is what my current bag is missing! The good thing about it is that if you want to switch bags, theres no need to transfer everything over, you just take out this nifty organiser and pop it over. It even has little handles which makes this much easier!

Very old and battered New Look bag!

On the first side, I just keep my mirror, phone and iPod etc. I love the amount of pockets and also the size of the pockets!

On the opposite side, I keep my notepad, sudoku book, pens and my work lanyards.

There are then three main sections, two zipped and one open. In the open section I keep my purse and my perfume.

In one of the zipped pockets I keep all my essentials like lip balm, plasters, solid perfume, hand sanitizer etc. Normally, these would all be floating around loose in my bag but now i know it will all be in this compartment. I still haven't found anything for the second zipped compartment yet but I'm thinking of storing bits and bobs from the day like receipts and vouchers for me to then sort out in the evening.

To show that this organiser is versatile, I have pictured it in another handbag. I believe that you can buy many different sizes and colours from eBay for pennies and even Primark! Definitely worth it if you love being organised!

How do you keep your handbag organised?

In's + Out's!

Hellooo! I'm so proud of myself, been sticking to this blog for over a week. Turns out it's a great way to procrastinate! Seen a few of these 'In and Out' posts so thought I would gather a little list in my head *gotta love a good old mental list* and give it a go.

In's

Overtime - been getting so much overtime over the last month or so, which means more pennies and more pretty things! Although I should probably start saving and stop splurging :(

How I Met Your Mother - kids, back in the spring of 2012, your aunt Vicky introduced me to this wonderful tv show on e4 and I was hooked! *show reference* I love Barney (the typical player character) Definitely buying this on box set one day!

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua - a gift from my Mum and Dad that I'm very thankful for! I didn't want to use it at first as it looked so pretty in the box but I do now and it's like applying a new layer of skin!

Tap the Frog - a game on the iPad/iPhone. You tap the frog, and thats about it, but its addictive!

Shopstyle - the website I use to again, procrastinate. It lets you browse all of the high street AND designer brands then create a wish list and looks. Currently been dreaming up my summer wardrobe!

Out's

Rude customers - I had to scurry away the other day for the fear of crying in front of everyone, man up Shannan!

Lack of Heatwaves - now, I know that England isn't the warmest country on the map, but I'm sure that at least once a year we have a week long heatwave. Well, where is it!?

Podge - and by podge, I mean my belly, and thighs, and face! I used to use the excuse that it was winter so an extra layer is good, can't use that excuse for much longer...

Any in's or out's on your mental list?

Poolside Nails

Hiya! I decided to paint my nails again tonight. Looking through my collection of polishes that vastly grew during the Boots No7 £5 voucher offer, I decided to try a polish that I haven't used yet. I chose Poolside Blue. Not my usual colour if I'm honest. I'm a neutral gal and if I do go for colour then its pink or purple. I have to admit though, after I applied it, I thought it looked ace!

Extremely messy, forgot to tidy them up!

Again, another fabulous No7 polish! One coat was all I needed (which is great for such an impatient bum like me!) It is so glossy and pigmented so all in all I'm impressed. I decided to jazz things up with an odd nail using Barry M's Blueberry Ice-cream on my ring finger. This is also a gorgeous colour, again, not something I'd usually reach for but once its on its lovely! I think its because it's a pastel shade so it matches the S/S fashion right now.

Next time I do my nails I might try something different from plain varnish, maybe nail wraps. Ideas?

Best kind of medicine!

Today I woke up feeling rubbish! I had a sore throat, I felt sick and even worse, I found it hard to eat and drink :( To be truthful, as it is my day off work, I've been lying in bed all day sleeping and feeling sorry for myself. At 8, I realised that I had better do something to perk myself up as I can't be going into work tomorrow looking and feeling like a bag of poop. The way that I make myself better? A lovely hot bath!

Soap and Glory - Calm One Calm All Bubble Bath, Thierry Mugler - Alien Shower Gel

Baths always help me unwind and I just the love the feeling of getting out all exfoliated and squeaky clean then getting into clean pjs. The soap and glory bubble bath I use is amazing! I love to have a bath full to the brim with bubbles and this does the job. The shower gel I used is actually my Mummy's, sorry Mum! It is amazing though, it's Alien by Thierry Mugler and the smell is to die for. I went to bed smelling all spruced up! I burned candles while I was in the bath too, some plain tea lights and a Yankee Candle wax tart. The smell was absolutely gorgeous.  Mix this with my iPod on shuffle equals heaven!

Yankee Candle - Wax Tart Blueberry Scone

Another thing a girl really needs when she is feeling under the weather is of course chocolate! My lovely Dad bought me some bubble milk chocolate as I've been finding it hard to swallow food today. Yummy! Im feeling much more refreshed now ready for work tomorrow :)

Relaxing songs I'm loving right now:
Bon Iver - Flume
Katie Herzig - I hurt too
Sia - My Love
Tracy Chapman - Fast Car

What do you guys do to feel better when you are ill?

Jammy nails!

Tonight I decided to paint my nails and after what seemed like a very long winter and an extremely dull spring, I thought why not brighten things up with a gorgeous hot pink!! Ive been sticking to the neutrals for the last few months so this is a lovely change.

I used the No7 nail polish in Jammy. I find No7 hit and miss, but this polish is perfect! It only needed one coat and has a lovely amount of shimmer.

No7 - Jammy, Models Own - Nail Art Pen in Black

I also tried out the Models Own nail art pen. I think that this too is a good product and allows for a lot of control.

Any other bright summer polishes you can recommend?
